Let’s face it, our dream is to lose weight and get a perfect shaped body while sleeping. If waist training helps you get a perfect shape, can I sleep while wearing my waist trainer? Short answer, yes. As long as you feel comfortable wearing it and you can sleep properly with it there shouldn’t be any problems.
When it comes to waist training, you should ALWAYS listen to your body. If it hurts, remove the waist trainer for a while and give yourself and your body a break. Waist training isn’t something that gives immediate results but overtime and combined with frequent exercise and a healthy lifestyle it will. Forcing your body to transform fast is never good.
We all are different and so are our bodies. I have heard multiple people saying that sleeping with their waist trainers on is a piece of cake while others say that they feel ‘claustrophobic’ and can’t sleep a whole night with it on. Sleeping well is more important than waist training, right?
Personally, I couldn’t sleep while wearing a waist trainer until I started saving my old waist trainers and use those as “sleeping waist trainers”. They are not usable anymore because the pressure put on my waist is minimal but they come handy when it comes to sleeping. They don’t make me feel uncomfortable but I am still putting some pressure on my waist – something is better than nothing, right?
It all comes down to what you feel comfortable with. If you can sleep properly with it on, go for it. If not, try to use the technique I shared above or don’t sleep with it at all. Running short on sleep and not having energy is really annoying especially if you are exercising and need the energy in the gym, while running, etc. Most of the excuses for not exercising is often combined with low energy and that you are short on sleep.
